GUG Review: That Hideous Strength

My trilogy of reviews for CS Lewis’s Space Trilogy is complete!

Last year, I reviewed Out of the Silent Planet and Perelandra. I loved both books! Lewis used his immense love of astronomy and medieval symbolism to craft a fascinating parable for man’s search for meaning within the universe and Joe other species of being might fit within the Christian paradigm.

The third book in the trilogy is usually where fans are lost. It starts slow and gets weirder as it going along. It takes a while before the elements of the series that fans love fully rush back and when they do it comes with bizarre tone changes and a dystopian atmosphere.
